PERSONAL DATA UPON PURCHASE

In order for you to enter into an agreement with us and for us to deliver your order, we process the following personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR):

  • Name
  • Address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address

We register your personal data solely for the purpose of delivering the goods to you. Personal data is stored by Happyhot for five years in accordance with bookkeeping legislation, after which it is deleted.

We never send marketing emails without your explicit consent. If you provide your email address or mobile phone number during purchase, you agree that we may contact you with information about your order, this does not constitute marketing.

DATA PROCESSING AND SECURITY

We work with a number of companies that store and process data on our behalf. These companies process data exclusively on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We only work with data processors within the EU or in countries that can provide your data with an adequate level of protection in accordance with GDPR.

Your personal data is only accessible to authorised personnel within our company. Credit card information is always encrypted via SSL connection and is never stored by us.

We never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR

  • Right of access - you may request a copy of the data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification - you may request that incorrect data is corrected.
  • Right to erasure - you may request that your data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
  • Right to withdraw consent - you may withdraw any consent you have previously given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
  • Right to object - you may object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing.

MARKETING AND BUSINESS RELATIONS (B2B)

In addition to personal data collected during purchases, we also process data in order to establish and maintain business relationships with potential resellers and partners.

Data we process:

  • Name of contact person
  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Work email
  • Work-related phone number

Purpose: To provide information about our reseller programme, our products and potential collaborations considered relevant to the recipient's professional role.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR). We have assessed that our legitimate interest in marketing our products to relevant businesses outweighs the individual's interest in the protection of their personal data, given that contact is made in a professional context.

Right to object: You may at any time and free of charge object to further communication by contacting us at mail@happyhot.dk. We will immediately cease all marketing directed at you.

Retention period: We retain your data for as long as we consider there to be a mutual business interest, or until you request to be unsubscribed. If you decline a collaboration, we store your email address on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again in the future.

Recipients: Data is handled internally by Happyhot and is only shared with service providers acting as data processors, such as cloud storage services and CRM tools.
