RETURNS

At Happyhot, you have a 100-day return policy, well beyond the 14-day minimum required under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU). We strive to provide the best possible service, but if the deadline has passed, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

  • Return fee: A return shipping fee applies and will be deducted from your total refund. The exact cost may vary depending on your country and will be confirmed when you contact us to arrange your return.
  • Refunds: The amount will be refunded to the same payment method used for the purchase. Funds are usually available in your account within 5 business days after we have received and processed the returned item.
  • Item condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging and be undamaged. You are welcome to try the product (just as you would in a physical store), but it must be returned unused and in mint condition for a full refund.
  • Depreciation: If the item has been handled more than necessary to establish its function and characteristics, it is considered used. In such cases, only a partial refund or no refund may be issued.
  • Important regarding packaging: Happyhot's original product packaging must not be used as the outer shipping container. Please use a separate shipping bag or cardboard box to protect the original packaging during transit.

EXCHANGES

Would you like to exchange for a different size or model? Our exchange process consists of two simple steps:

  1. Place a new order: Order the desired item directly on our website.
  2. Send the return: Return the original item to us. We will refund the amount for your returned item as soon as we receive it.
  • Free shipping: We offer free shipping on all exchange orders.

HOW TO RETURN (RETURN LABEL)

Since we ship to many different EU countries, return labels are arranged individually so we can find the best solution for your location. To start your return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us by email at mail@happyhot.dk with the subject line "Return - [your order number]".
  2. Include your order number, name, and the reason for the return.
  3. We will respond within 1-2 business days with instructions and a return label or shipping details specific to your country.
  4. Pack the item securely using a separate shipping bag or box. Do not use the original product packaging as the outer shipping container.

We recommend keeping your proof of postage until you have received confirmation of your refund.

WARRANTY & COMPLAINTS

When shopping at Happyhot, you have a minimum 2-year statutory warranty in accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 1999/44/EC). The warranty period begins from the day you receive the item.

  • Your rights: Depending on the nature of the defect, you may have the item repaired, exchanged, or receive a refund or price reduction.
  • Shipping: We cover all return shipping costs for justified warranty claims on defective items.
  • Conditions: The claim must be justified and the defect must not have arisen as a result of incorrect use or external damage.
  • Timing: You must submit your claim within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. Claims made within two months are always considered timely.

How to handle a warranty claim:

  1. Send an email to us at mail@happyhot.dk.
  2. Provide your order number and describe the fault in as much detail as possible.
  3. Attach photos or a short video showing the fault or defect.
  4. We will review your case and send you a pre-paid return label if the item needs to be sent back for repair or replacement.

Important: The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect use, normal wear and tear, or external damage. We do not accept packages sent via COD (Cash on Delivery). Always pack the item securely and keep your proof of postage.

If we are unable to resolve the issue directly with you, you may file a complaint with the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal, available to all EU residents: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
